I agree. I'm in my late 70's and hunted SW Desert for elk last year. Where I hunted it was pretty flat with smaller hills and easy to get around.

I shoot Barnes 165 ttsx out of my Kimber Montana but lately they have been hard to find. If you have a Turners near you they have a big ammo sale going on and also I used to find the Barnes at Sportsman warehouse.

Problem is the 2023-24 book shows the tag/quotas allotted for 2022. You are guessing that they will be the same.
