Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. I am also not questioning your experience. Just stating what a lot of us are seeing and we are not key board warriors. We hunt and kill a lot of elk on the unit every year. My hope is it rebounds this year and we get back to shooting 320+ potential type...

Ok Cam, so if you and the DWR are correct then the elk are still heavily using private property. I realize there may be select spots where a big herd might seclude but the hunting on public land is nowhere near what it was back then. Places we would see a herd with hundreds of elk in season...
