Hunted it year before last on the Laramie River HMA and did ok. Buddy and I are headed there this year with 6 tags. There's also the Diamond Lake HMA. Anyone have info on Diamond Lake vs Laramie River HMA ? Thanks.

I live in the marble mountain unit and if i ever draw the tag i will hire an outfitter. You need to get way back in the wilderness to get a really good bull and beleive me there are some REALLY good bulls. It is almost certainly going to be hot as hell during your hunt even at 6000 ft. elevation...

I'm good friends with your uncle Dave here in Scott Valley. Don't know if you remember i went elk hunting with you guys many years ago (1995 i think ?) in the Starkey unit. Fun trip and we did real good !!

The line runs up the Scott River from the Klamath and south on hwy 3 through the middle of Scott Valley so yes Marbles is B&C P&Y pure blacktail.
