If my memory serves, which is highly suspect, there were a little over 12K tickets sold last year for elk. That would take 120K to buy about half the potential tickets. You are on to something, but I'm sure the big spenders have already figured that out, also. AZGFD will still get their money...
I like to use the "Six Pack Carry'. Keep a cold six pack in a cooler in your truck. After you kill your elk, hike out to the truck, wave the 6 pack at any passing trucks. They'll stop, drag out your elk, and you pay them with the Six Pack. Easy🤣
no the points are totaled, divided by number of hunters, rounded off as necessary. I think wweaver79 meant that if, for example, someone had 20 points, with your 24, would go to 22, so you'd both be in max pool.
