We are non-res. Plans changed a little, so now me and a couple friend are planning on 70 3rd Season, 4 points.

We ended up not putting in. Some scheduling conflicts arose that luckily we realized before we applied. I am thinking we will be do 70 this year, 3rd season.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. We are still going back and forth. We don't need a trophy hunt or anything, just an opportunity to see a decent amount of deer and have a good time. We would prefer to hunt the same unit but nothing is off of the table.

Hey Guys, Might be a long shot but curious about people's opinions on 62 vs 70 for a 2nd rifle deer tag. I have 4 points but my BIL that I will be hunting with only has 2. These are the two units were are deciding between. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Had the tag last year. Most of the deer seemed to be up high still. Hunt off of the Divide road. Finding deer won't be an issue. You will see lots of bucks, but will have to look really hard or be at the right spot at the right time to get one of the bigger ones. It is a fun hunt and you should...

I had the tag last year as well. There were plenty of deer up top still. Bigger bucks were hard to find, but they are there. There is a lot more water than you think out there but it is not always where you think it is. I killed a good buck, in my book, but it all depends on your expectations...

I don't know you either, I just saw your post about being out there and how poor the hunt was.

Did you have a tag? I know you were out there for the muzzy hunt so I was just curious if it was your tag.
