I was able to harvest this beautiful buck in eastern Idaho last week. I drew a late season tag and it was an experience I will never forget. My wife and kids all got to be there when I killed him. He scored right at 190. Buck of a lifetime for me.

I think you are right Bess. I heard the same thing about elk season. Lots of hunters and few elk. Your theory makes perfect sense. Can't hunt deer then lets go get an elk tag. Something has to be done differently but I don't know what it is. Guess I will keep hunting Idaho. Her moose is 47...

Arrow through one back leg, straight though the sack and into the other back leg. Hit an artery and died within minutes. Arrow stayed in the sack.

Great looking mount. Jeremy mounted my Elk last year and is currently mounting the moose i shot last year. He does great work. I will post up the moose pics when they are done.
