I really like the way Ohio figures out the value of the "trophy" deer. Adds up quickly.....actually, exponentially.
Nice deer.....too bad a poacher had to find it is all.
I have not done any research on solar panels.
But, how much energy does it take to make them? How long do they last before they need to be replaced? Then, what about getting rid of the old, worn out solar panels.......toxic waste?
I feel the same way about electric cars, battery powered...
Not wearing enough orange is not the taking of game. Therefore, I suspect not an act of poaching.
Why would you not cut the dates on your tag if you were not intending to use the tag again?
To be simple about that.....If the game were taken illegally, it would be considered "poached".
I agree ....Only about 10% of the poachers actually get caught.
Costco used to carry a three pack of headlamps for around $16.
They came with a set of batteries. I believe they were put out by Duracell......the battery people.
I have not been able to find them for about 3 months though.
While on the subject of light......Same place and brand.....led...
Had two nests on my 1/2 acre at home. Yellow jackets. Ground dwellers. They did not like me cutting the weeds near their nests. Stung multiple times. Cup of gas at night and cover up. Solves the problem.
Has anyone ever read the fine print that we all agree to when we get an app?
Most likely tells you right there that they collect data.
Solution may be to carry a GPS just to collect your waypoints.
Elkassassin,
I believe that what you said was true.......but most of those "shooters" should not be shooting further than about 300 yards, no matter what optics or rifle they have.
