Bolt hitting scope

Looking for advice, I put on the youth stock which fits and I’m happy with that but the bolt handle will hit the scope once I put on the appropriate height rings. What’s the best route? Higher rings with cheek riser or modify the bolt handle? Anything else?

Finishing up dinner then I’ll throw a pic up here. Keep in mind the rings mounted don’t hit but are too high for the kids. I forgot to mention that part, although I did mention youth stock.

Less than .2” clearance. They are 1”height rings. I’m thinking now they aren’t getting much lower anyways are they? Maybe .90”? Cheek riser it’ll have to be.

It’s a savage. I went and bought a simple bearpaw cheek riser for $24 so we’ll see how that works. I have to say the stock I got from savage is a hell of a lot better than the original one it came with.

I have the rifle all put together. Tomorrow I’ll try to post a picture. I’m pretty excited for the kids to shoot it and I think they are too.
