I hunted the middlefork since the 80's. That is a good hunt. Fly with Rays out of Cascade. Work hard for a decent buck. Some airstrips have hot springs. Buy a wolf tag. To truly hunt the middle fork you need to be in shape and its not for the weak.

I hear ya.. Consistently putting in for 20 years and not a single elk tag. Hopefully this is the year.
