Anybody have any property in the big valley they would let me and a buddy hunt coyotes on for the Adin coyote shoot this year in Feb.?

I pretty much had narrowed it down to the late hunt in 52, 411, 521, then I talked to the biologist and he told me most of the deer would be on private property by then so it's back to the drawing board. Running out of time and can't make a decision. NR7 points.

I have narrowed it down to 55 3rd season, 66 2nd season, or 67 3rd season. They all have good to excellent access and seem to be improving each year. I have 7 NR points and should be able to draw any one of the three. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I just completed applying for the deer tag drawing and purchasing my bear tag as well as my fishing license online. It took California way to long to offer this, but now that they have, I was impressed with how simple and easy it was. I'm glad we finally caught up with the rest of the states.

Leupold VX-3 CDS After much debate, I just ordered the Leupold VX-3 CDS 4-16 for my Savage 116 weather warrior in 338. Hoping to get it set up before I leave for Wyoming.

I am ready to scope my Savage 116 FHSAK 338 win mag and have read read some things that concern me about what scope mounts work best. Anybody out there put a scope on one of these, and if so what did you use and how well did they work. I'm going to put a Leupold V-3 on it.
