    Waders

I posted this in the hunting gear page but figured I might have better luck here. Heading to Alaska next year on a moose float trip and looking for waders. It sounds like Simms G4 and G3 are the top of line, do any other brands come anywhere close? How do Simms less expensive options stack up...

    Allout Guiding and Outfitting

Epic only begins to describe the experience I had with Allout Outfitters. After waiting so many years to draw a tag, the only certainty about cashing in that many points was uncertainty. I undoubtably feel like I made the right choice and can't thank JT's team enough. A very special thanks to...

    Moose Outfitter Recommendations

Hello, I'm looking for any recommendations on a reliable outfitter or just as importantly any to avoid. Open to locations. Would be interested in a combo caribou hunt but moose is definitely the priority. Thanks in advance!

    Lassen Pronghorn

After a very long awaited tag, it was over much too quickly. Big thank you to all the MM members who pointed me in the right direction.

    Unit 54 Elk

My dad and I drew a couple cow tags and I was wondering if it made much difference to hit the opener or wait towards the end of the season? I'm leaning towards the end to hopefully catch some moisture and not compete with deer hunters. Has anyone experienced much difference either way? Thanks

    X Zones

How was everyone's X-Zones hunts this year? Hot, dry, full moon, locked public access, and a mid-season Covid scare made for an interesting one for me. Thanks again to everyone I reached out to for information on my hunt.

    Hunting This Year Burn

Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) hunting burns the same year as the fire? There is currently a good size fire in a zone that I will be hunting this fall and was wondering if it would be worth giving that area a look. Thanks

    Siskiyou Wilderness

Hi, I was considering checking out the Siskiyou wilderness this fall during rifle season and was curious how everyone/anyone felt it compared to the Marbles or Trinity's with regard to hunting pressure and deer numbers. Thanks

    Unit 61 Elk Advice

Hello All, I have 21 NR preference points and am debating on weather or not I should apply for the first rifle hunt or hold out a few more years for the muzzleloader or early rifle hunt. Does having deer/cow hunters/people scouting have much effect on the muzzy and first rifle seasons? I have...

    510-50 Pryor Mountains Montana

Hi All, Long time reader first time poster. My dad and I have been hunting general deer units for several years and decided to change things up a bit this year and try out the Pryor Mountains. From what I understand about the unit so far is the deer numbers are low but the sex ratios are good...
