I hunted it with a friend last year 7 days. I have nothing good to say about it. Few small bucks around, low deer density for sure.

The place by dairy Queen is called Ponderosa. There is a new rv park up by the new game and fish office called Buffalo View rv park. If it was me I'd go camp up the North Fork in national forest campground or out in the BLM or Buffalo Bill Reservoir. Those rv parks are like camping in a sardine can.

I was hunting along the Greybull River on Thanksgiving and found a dead WT buck that was low gut shot.

What dates were you hunting?

Not that great for archery, It is one of the only units left around Cody for general...so it gets some pressure. Type 1 is great because it is a late migratory hunt.

Nowadays its all about what your budget is for a house or land to build. It's all about doubled here in Cody.

I have the LEM Big Bite 10" slicer and its a beast and looks to be built well and will last a long time just like they're grinders.

They started after SFW left the area or whatever happened.

There is a lot of BLM out that way to camp on

I hunted a week in F and seen maybe 3 mature bucks, tons and tons of 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 year old bucks. Give it some time.

I know the northern part of the Bighorns got some good snow last weekend. Shell Creek got 17 inches which will move elk down the mountain. Not sure about that far down.

The Upper South Fork has some excellent fishing as well as I heard the Upper Greybull does too.

If you want to backpack in the Washakie, go up the Greybull River or the Wood River or even the South Fork of the Shoshone River is a beauty

Mostly all the land East of Hwy 120 is public land BLM.Check it out using the hunt planner on the Wyoming game and fish website.

Plenty of antelope and mostly public land. More antelope pile into the unit the later in the season after some snow.

I live in Cody, housing is expensive. Not much more than any other place that are desirable in Wyoming.

If you have any experience with hunting mule deer, go rent your self a string of llamas. Save yourself a lot of money and have a good hunt built on self satisfaction.

Unit 63 or 61-2 with Wood River Ranch, I think they took all the cream of the crop in 56 within a couple years of it opening.

I think 38-39 are either type 1 or type 9

I think you have to choose either Type 1 or Type 9 in that unit. There is a couple units like that in the Bighorn Mtns.
