Thank you! I had another bull early in the hunt with a frontal opportunity around 65-70 but had lots of trees around. I opted to pass and felt it was the right decision. I wanted to be under 60 and with Time winding down he has in a perfect open gap facing me and I’ve heard frontals are deadly...

It wasn’t Boulder but the rock fields sucked bad! Lots of southern Utah units have that type of stuff! Editing it was definitely a challenge of its own😂 I appreciate your comment!

Throat shot but shooting down hill so it sunk down into his chest and got the good stuff. I felt confident in my shooting and he bled like crazy! I definitely had to think about it but I’m glad I let it fly.

It is definitely not an easy task! A lot harder than I thought it was going to be!

Utah LE Archery 17 days hunting and harvested while solo!

He was 3-4 miles from trail cam pics. I called him and one cow into 55 yards. The cow was at 30 and barked at me and I had a clean frontal shot so I took it. He didn’t go far and layed down. I got up to him in his bed and put one more arrow through his shoulder blade and that was it!

Here is my 2023 Limited-Entry Archery bull. I hunted a total of 17 days before I was able to seal the deal on this sweet 6 point solo! I went back through some trail cam cards from surrounding areas and was able to find a few pics of him from July!

Gotta be these sheds my uncle scooped up a few years back. Public land 100% public born and raised bull. Lots of guys with trail cam pics of him. Had to be dead of old age by now.
