I guess no one shot a mule deer in TX last year 🤷? With all the TX outfitters that advertise on this site you would think someone did .

Worst punishment I’ve ever had in my life was when my dad told me you can forget about hunting this year for something stupid I did as a kid ! I like it !

I believe first gun season Oct 31 -nov4. So really not expecting to see any snow but not sure as I’ve never been lol

I don’t have the exact location but will be staying in rifle CO , the property is around 6k acres and the elevation is between five and 6000 feet,

I know this is a 4/5 year old thread but man I hate reading this as I have a private land mule deer hunt booked for this year in unit 42/421 ! This will be my first time ever hunting Colorado. As with everything else in our country I’m sure nothing has improved in the last few years!

I went and shot out to 600 yards with the trakiom tripod and it was very steady sitting and standing, if I have to lay down to shoot I will use my backpack even though that’s makes some people feel sick lol , 8 days until I head out on my mule deer hunt , it’s going to be a long week next week lol
