Anyone now what this model Leupold is? I went their site typed in the numbers on the scope but nothing came up. I bought it about six years ago from pawn shop.

I plan to elk hunt in 2022. I have a 30.06 and 270. People I’ve talked to say they have shot at elk up to 500 yards. My 30.06 I usually shoot a 165 grain my 270 130 grain. Never shot at anything over 300 yards. What do you think is my best gun and grain?

I hunted 22 2nd season last year but for only a few days. elks96 can give you a lot of info about unit 22. I feel for your father, my knees held me back last year but this year I had one replaced so I am looking forward to future hunts.
