I took a cruise through a winter range in northern utah and did some glassing, not a lot of deer to be seen. Great winter for the ones that are there but I’d bet there is 1/4 of what we usually see at best

We hunted just west of Wyoming and there were places that the snow was up to our waist, probably only saw 4 other people that were out that way

The area that I shed hunt I expected to see lots of dead deer and elk, actually significantly less than what I saw in 2017. Hopefully it’s not as bad as what was feared considering the area had record snowfall.
