Those birds are as educated as any in the country. I would not bring decoys unless you want to get shot! Most roost trees with a gobbler on it, will have multiple parties hunting them. There are birds. Don’t let me discourage you. Good luck!
I can’t believe nobody mentioned Badass archery shop in Sandy. Those guys were impressive. I really liked Wilde Arrow also. Humphreys can hold its own, used to go there a long time ago but didn’t like them setting my bow up without me.
These guys are the real poachers of wildlife. I will call them green poachers. They take our money and bankrupt the working system. Theu will leave in their wake a destroyed wildlife process that’s devoid of game and broken habitat. They don’t care about wildlife, they only care that humans...
Oregon gives like 5% of the tags to the NR. Why give only 10% of the tags to NR when you could give just 5% or even less. Glad you nominated yourself as the spokesperson for everyone in the state of Wyoming. Since you are such a champion for resident tags, take more opportunity from the NR and...
Sick of the Wyoming residents complaining about us NR. Just outlaw all NR hunting in WY and stop taking my money. Pay for your policies on your own dime. Start having kids with your relatives for as much as I care. Your hunting isn’t going to get any better without us and you’re still not going...
Drew a turkey tag for Utah this year. I have shot many turkeys to date all around the SW. Drawing a turkey tag doesn’t make me feel like I have anything special. Just an excuse to take a week off work and enjoy the spring!
I can second the Les Schwab Backcountry All Terrain tire. I have over 40,000 miles on them and the look barely used. I live in Elko NV and it seems I have to click my Tacoma into 4WD frequently. They will be my next tire.
I had the Muzzy tag last year, scouted heavily for 2 weeks and turned the tag back. It’s gonna take some time for the unit to reclaim its glory. I did see bucks-but was not impressed. I felt my Utah GS archery tag was better.
I can guide you on a lizard hunt. We have some massive horned toads here in Northern Nevada. Best part is they are catch and release. PM for pics and references.
