That’d be correct, license prof guide. Law clearly states must be “accompanied by.” Unless their perspective has changed its prohibited. So … I know lots of other guides who are buddies and if they merely “accompany” me then they are guiding on NF/wilderness and would need a use permit.

As a NR WOGA licensed guide I am still prohibited from hunting on my own tag in Wyoming wilderness areas. So it’s not about safety or skills and knowledge. It’s about being under contract with outfitter licensed on that specific NF/wilderness area. It’s about as crap a law as has ever been written.

Most of them $$$$ probably go to tIp NR guides like myself who use a wheel barrow to haul the greenbacks back to our home states, where we in turn applying/buy our preference points in Wyoming. True … but funny

I have a Shiras cape available if someone has a need for such. Moose taken this year in Utah. It’s caped long for shoulder or pedestal mount, raw, and frozen. I don’t need anything for it, just cover the cost of getting it shipped and it’s yours. Just hate to throw it away.

To think 90/10 will become law of the cowboy state without some resident public land hunter sacrifice somewhere along the way would be fool hearted. As with most things political and with so many stakeholders there is likely to be some required “give” on the resident side of things.

Used Guerrieri’s a few years back and it was a good experience. Cuts were wrapped in plastic then in paper. They were accommodating even as 4th season was coming to an end. I would use them again.

I’ve hunted 60 guided in bear country and 24 DIY. I much prefer the 24 hunt and bulls I took were about same caliber. I have no experience in 62, guess depends on what type hunt you want. I personally can’t find any reason to go back into insanely unmanaged bear country.
