    Be sure to hit the Ouray hot springs but make sure the temperature is hot enough the day you go as it tends to fluctuate. Black Canyon is also worth a look. Those are our favorite places to bring our guests who visit Montrose.

    65 moose

    During 2nd rifle season last year I saw 2 big bulls up above Silver Jack. I saw them two days in a row feeding along the river. Good luck on your hunt.

    It is frustrating, but I do agree that they miss a lot of sheds. With the number of fresh beer cans I am finding next to their tracks I doubt they see much of anything.
