They reach out multiple times. Agree that those who approve are less likely to comment. The fact is very few are giving input that the RAC's or WB are hearing. Don't expect they are monitoring multiple social media accounts. Good if they do for sure.

Doesn't matter peoples attention span is not that long. It's interesting the number of comments to the RAC's and WB. The discussion on shed hunting was interesting. But the total amount of comments to the RAC's and WB on any subject should be a huge wakeup for anybody that has an opinion.

That's kind of a big ask if you want my opinion. But you didn't. Is there something inherently wrong with losing points no matter how a tag is procured? Why would it decrease participation? After all it's about getting a tag. Another opportunity. Get a tag go to the back of the line. Simple.

My guess would be that very few people who are buying a CWMU voucher are also applying for points for the same species. But if they can buy one anytime they want I see no need for them to also be able to accumulate points for that species.

21% of Utah is private lands. If the salvation of mule deer is dependent on private lands they will shortly be on the endangered species list. Pray tell what landowner is is making their living on wildlife.

Bess, If you combine the two lists you would have the number of people who think they might want to hunt GS deer in Utah. Are there people with PP that are not listed? More than likely, but they are not really competing so it shouldn't matter.

The pressure should be 100 percent directed at the legislature to improve funding. The DWR's main mandate is the animals. Hunters should be a very distant second. But right now it seems that the idea is to pay tribute to more bad ideas.

We are not giving out anywhere close the same number of permits as in the past. But again it seems the the discussion is that hunters are limiting the herds. This proposal does nothing to address the herd. Not one thing.
