We drew the 2nd elk rifle hunt in 16a probably about 3-4 years ago, I was October 23rd or 24th and we found pockets of elk that were screaming like it was late September, so it's definetely possible to run into some hot cows and bugling bulls that time of year.

Just got back for 16c today, no bugles at all yet, only saw one bull all weekend, no cows and we glassed for miles and miles. Also picked up a camera that I had out, had a few cows and a nice bull but nothing overly impressive.

Under the review screen aren't they just sorted by hunt date, first to last, then sorted by hunt code first to last. Pretty sure it means nothing.

I agree Iccy! when Rio kept saying we would be happy i took that to mean we would get there results sometime this week. Monday or Tuesday isnt that early, but that might just be my impatient self talking. Fingers crossed for today.

They might have finally outsmarted us, think the draw might be happening on a back end system this year, easiest way to take away all those back doors. Just my guess though... Hopefully results are still early, rio- can you make it happen this Friday? Thanks !

I think they have a deadline for harvest reporting of April 7th for some species, or there may be application rejection, so the draw will not happen until after that. So IMO best case the draw happens next week, realistically it will probably happen around April 20th or so and that gives them a...
