Going to archery hunt unit 53 with some buddies that drew the muzzy bull tag. I have hunted 53 during 3rd season rifle a few years back, and tag a pretty decent bull. Anyone willing to give some advice on hunting elk here in September?

Nocturnal are the best I have found. Never had a problem with them coming on, easy to turn off. I have used lumenocks also, but did not like them.

Have a pair of vortex bino, and have had them for 6 years with no problems. Bought a razor spotting scope last year and love it. My opinion for the price,warranty and quality Vortex is hard to beat. Like anything you can find pros and cons.

My opinion wait for mt. Emily or Weneha. They are your best chance at 350 + Bulls. If you put in your time and scout you should be able to find some really good Bulls.
