    Re barreling a rifle

Thanks for the replies. Don’t care about the value, I will never get rid of it. It’s had a lot of ammo through it over the many years and just looking to be more accurate. I appears to have lost its accuracy a bit, but still shoots well.

    Re barreling a rifle

Can anyone recommend a gunsmith to re-barrel a rifle. Have a 50 year old Browning bolt action (Belgium) in .270, doesn't need to be local, willing to ship. Thanks.

Hoping there’s no delays or shutdowns? Friend had it a couple years ago and it was an easy hunt, lots of bulls at 40 or less. Did your hunt last year get pushed back?

    Area 6 Early Deer

Will be heading up to Area 6 for Early Deer in October. Plan to stay the 2 weeks. Going to walk back in to a couple tough access areas to look around in a few weeks, primarily 61 and 62. Does anyone have any recent hunting info over the past couple of years with the fires and maybe what they saw...

    Eberlestock X1 backpack

Does anyone use an Eberlestock X1 pack. If so, how does the rifle fit into the pack? Does the pack ride well? I need a new backpack for my daughter to use on long day trips.

A Few Kickers on this One!

Nice Buck. A hunting partner in Wyoming has been sending pictures of a lot of snow on the Greys. Says the deer in the area near town were not looking very well.

    Averaging points

Add up the total number of points and divide by the number of hunters. Example: if 3 people are applying as a party: #1 has 2 points, # 2 has 4 points and #3 has 5 points, the total number of points is 11. Divide 11 by 3 = 3.66 points Hope this helps.
