i have a hunt in SW Wyoming near Mountain View in October. I've read a lot about the winter impact on deer and antelope but am curious how the elk herd is looking from guys who live in the area. Appreciate any input.

Am I reading the Colorado regs correctly? If driving a truck or other motor vehicle, the gun must be unloaded (chamber only). If driving an OHV, the chamber and magazine must be empty and in a soft or hard case.

Any ideas on two way radios for a Colorado elk / deer hunt? have a group of 5 hunters, would like to be able to communicate in areas with no cell service. What is a reasonable range to expect on a good radio? 3 miles?

planning to apply for deer and elk for 67 2nd rifle, i have a bear preference point so could probably draw a tag that's good for 66/67. Harvest stats are abysmal and i'm thinking with the late dates this year the bears will be denned up by 2nd rifle?

Did Utah recently change the rules on non resident licenses? I thought they were good for 2 years

Looks like there are very few tags given out in unit 67 for archery, muzzy, or rifle. Are there just not many pronghorn in the Gunnison Basin?

I applied for points only, elk, mule deer, and pronghorn online last week. I'm about to send in paper apps for moose and bighorn sheep. I paid a habitat stamp fee with my online applications, do I need to pay again with my moose and sheep apps? I am a non res so these apps will be filed by paper.

Looking at the regs it looks like youths can apply for points beginning at age 12, 11 if they will turn 12 by the end of "the season on the license" If they apply for points only, what is considered by the end of the season on the license?
