Funny how that works! When u have a rifle or muzzy tag, u could've shot them with bow. But when u have a bow tag, if only u had a rifle. Congrats to your buddy! Any billy is a trophy in my opinion.

Unit 50 that late in the season should be pretty easy. Look in the flat wide open north of Cerro de la Olla between there and the CO border. Been out calling coyotes around that time and see huge herds of elk right off the main road. The snow has been coming down so the elk will be migrating...

Just curious if anyone on here knows what month the ibex rut. I've heard they breed year round but I've also heard they rut primarily in December. Has anyone actually seen them butting heads and going at it like bighorn or Barbary?

+2 for Paul and his brother Vince at imperial taxidermy! As mentioned above don't go with just anyone when it comes to taxidermy work. I get all my mounts done by imperial and have never been disappointed one bit. Walk into their shop and check out the trophy room and u will see for yourself...
