Wickenburg sounds like a pretty good choice for what you're looking for. Either Wickenburg or the New River area sound the best to me for what you're looking for. Both places get hot and thats what you're looking for. If you choose New River you would be closer to unit 21 which has coues and...

I've been on the 12b west late hunt once and the 12a west late hunt four times. In my opinion I liked the 12a west late hunt much better. The 12b west unit is small and not as good in my opinion.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-31-17 AT 07:46AM (MST)[p]I've never hunted 7W for archery bull so I don't know much about it. I took a trip out there last week and the bulls are hanging around the cows. I also think that there was elk scouters and their camps already out there. Good luck on your hunt.

There's a lot of coyotes in that unit.

I would also say Bellemont. At the exit just take the road along the highway and go west. You can camp anywhere out there.

I haven't got my tag yet, but they're supposed to be mailed out by this Friday April 21st.

I was also wondering about if the ranch limits the amount of elk or antelope hunters on the ranch for each hunt? Like did they go with the rule of the first 40 antelope hunters to get a pass can only hunt the ranch? I was just wanting to know this before I put in for antelope.
