Headed back up this weekend guys....what's everyone seeing up high? How much snow!? Not looking for area info boys....just weather and it they seem to be moving down. Wondering about hunting high for the last day and then going low....or just staying low!! Anyone have any input??

Yes I have one I think it is the Raptor but I could be wrong. It has 3 wings that fold out and a striker for easy lighting. I have used it on many trips and seems to work great for me. It also comes in a compact tough nylon case that fits right in my mess kit. Hope this helps.

He is a super nice deer for Idaho general. I would put him at 175 for sure. It would be nice to see a score on him when you get time.

I drew the unit 93 lope tag. I have talked with a couple of hunters from Oregon and Utah that have hunted it in the past. I have also talked to the Wyoming biologist for that area. So I have a little info on the unit but if anyone had any areas that seemed to hold better goats it would be...

Has anyone had any experience with this camera? It is supposed to be a great cam. It has the 3ccd like the GL2 but is a third of the price. It only has a 12x zoom, but it takes still pics with 4 megs. Just wondering if you guys knew any about it. Thanks

I would put him right at 170 maybe a few shy, but not much. It would be interesting to see what the score comes out at if you nail him. Good luck and that is a great buck.

Agreed glassing is the main thing for me. When you get on one of those high points don't let yourself stand out like a sore thumb. Try to stay in the cover and out of the skyline. They will spot you very easy if you don't. Try to be to a good vantage point by daylight, sit and watch for awhile...

RE: Idaho deer hunt unit 45&52 Can you hunt both units? What areas do you know or are you looking at. I have hunted 45 a lot and know some really good spots. Interested to know which land owner if it is 45. PM me if you want some info. Where are you located?
