Here’s my 2020 buffalo!

Thanks for the replies, after doing some more research, looks like I may actually go with the Kowa 664.

I have the chance to pick up a used Swarovski STS (non hd) 20-60x65 for about $1000 it’s a 2007 model. I could also go with a leupold Santiam sx-5 in 27-55x80 for about the same price. Does anybody have experience with either of these scopes, if so I’d love your thoughts.

I would definitely take the late hunt over the mid season hunt. You’ll have thousands of less hunters in the field with you.

I’ve spent a lot of time on the pahvant. With hard work you should have no trouble turning up quite a few 350+ bulls.

Here’s my 2023 Utah Bear, shot him from the ground sneaking into my stand after a good rainstorm, I definitely have the bear hunting bug now.

Regular draw for me with 14 points. I typically apply in the regular.

I’d look at unit 24 if your goal is 280-300. Can be drawn with 1 under max and there’s a lot of elk and a lot of bulls.
