There is no 4th season in the Gunnison units. And most of the 3rd seasons take 10 or less points, I would not burn that many if it were me.

I am looking for a landowner deer tag for Unit 35 3rd season. Can anyone help, with info to find one such as landowner contact info. It seams almost impossible to find the landowners, the only way to get a tag is through the brokers, who then mark the price up. And the way the law is in Colorado...

Good luck finding one they are almost impossible to come by, I dont know why because they are not worth the 5 or 6 grand they are going for. But if you are willing to up the anti from there you might find one.

It is usually worth spending a few hundred more for quality work, you get what you pay for and most $500 deer mounts turn out to be a regret.

I am looking at buying a landowner voucher for these units. Is there decent public land to hunt where I can find deer and what quality of deer can I expect?

Nice bull love those big 6 points. There is no such thing as too many mounts, and most taxidermists would have bought that cape.

If you think of the actual meat that comes off the average deer I bet it is more like 75lbs so you could double that total deer number that the lions are killing.
