Windmill area is good. It was for us. Need to be in there early then find some good vallys and hills to just sit and glass. saw ours 8am. across the highway west is also good along powerline towards wickieup. Good luck

I just got off the phone with the FS and they are also going to enforce the 14 day time limit at camp spots. IF you are going up ealry plan on leaving the forest for a day and comoing pback to sey up camp again if you are not lucky to get one early. I also agree with your post!!!!!
