Hunts with Dad are the best. Game and fish had no idea how much money I saved just putting my kids in for hunts and not myself. Watching the kids get their first buck or bull was better than doing it myself. DayMan

The bowhunts always have, but the rifle hunts used to be later in September. I agree with letting the dominant bucks breed. Politics before biology in many cases. DayMan

GilaCoues1, Put them in for everything you can and go out often. They will be 18 before you can blink and in the big pool with the rest of us. Out of all of the hunts I've been on, the ones with my kids and or wife are the best memories. I think most would agree. DayMan
