I have not been deer or elk hunting in SE Idaho but I've been doing a lot of Sharptail and pheasant hunting there and I've come across more winter kill carcasses this year than in the last dozen years combined. This one property I got permission to hunt I came across at least 25 to 30 carcasses...

in the 80’s the surface area of the GSL was around 3300 Square miles, today it’s less than 1000. I don’t think it will ever get anywhere close to what it was in the 80’s. It doesn’t even snow anymore and this past summer was the hottest summer ever in Utah.

Nice ones Nemont! I just got back from eastern Montana. Tons of geese. We had no problem getting permission to hunt fields with just geese using them but for some reason couldn’t get permission on fields with ducks and geese. Either fields were leased or they didn’t allow hunting or someone else...
