BrowningRage, I wasn't able to draw a tag in the area this year so had to buy an archery tag in a different unit. So therefore i have to wait until the extended hunt starts.

I know of one small 295 killed on opening day. My uncle had the archery tag and we seen lots of nice bulls just couldn't seal the deal.

I had an archery tag. I killed him on Labor Day weekend. Bugled him to 25 yds. One shot and it was all over. Yes it was 2013 tag. He moved into the area I was hunting two days before I killed him. I even was lucky enough to catch him on trail camera.

Honestly when he came in I didn't care how big he was. I thought he was a great looking bull and wanted to kill him
