I didn’t think about the tag buying and re selling. I overlooked that. To answer your original question, the outfitter does pay a percentage. Not to the DWR but for the use of public lands, private lands is up to the landowner. Forest service and Blm charges a percentage to use public lands.

I could be wrong but the industry’s you referred to, the he companies buy the products and re sale them to the end consumer. Outfitters don’t buy animals and resale them. But hey it’s all in how you want to look at it.

The animal is paid for by the hunter, that’s the tag fee. Outfitter isn’t making money for the animal, just the help to find one.

I really like my crispi boots. I wear the Wyoming gtx, I'm sure most styles would be good though. Just depends on what your looking for.

The deer hunting is good there. Put in the time if you can and you will find good deer.

A couple years ago I had a LE tag in so. Utah and passed on a 340ish bull the first day. I had been watching a 380 plus bull and was determined to find him ended up killing a 320 6x6 on last day. I regret not shooting the bull the first day but if I could do it again I would do the same thing...

Don't know the wasatch but the dutton is tough on any elk hunt especially if its a warm year I wouldnt want to hunt it with a bow

DHers should have to pick a unit, they already get the perks. everyone that draws a tag has to pick a unit. DHers already get perks all 3 hunts 2 deer in 3 years. most people are lucky to draw a tag every third year. how many people actually put in the hours they are supposed to or have someone...

i dont think thats a legal spike. any branch makes it non legal in spike only units. above the ear leaves an open discussion, but technically any branch would be above the ear unless you hold the ear up.
