bucks like that are killed every year, on every unit and season on the Kaibab. They may be few and far between, but the genetics are present and you may get lucky.

Dang! Tough experience. Hunting can be brutal.

My take is that the rut just hasn't kicked in... you wont hear or see them until it does.

I have one in California.... set up in the yard and never used. Doubt a sale could work with me being in CA but will be heading through Utah Oct 12/13 on my way to CO elk hunt.

you're missing the point @SureShot. WHY CAN OTHER STATES GET US RESULTS IN UNDER 2 WEEKS AND UTAH TAKES 2 MONTHS?! THEY WORK FOR US. WE ARE ANNOYED AT THIER INCOMPETENCE.

I get that there is a lot of checks and balances in the draw but what are other states doing differently to get results back to us in a week?! It really is absurd to have to wait months.

Anyone feeling generous to give me a little help on where the birds are in AZ unit 12 this year? I know the units well from deer hunting but never hunted turkeys here.

I hunted 12BW early this year and I passed 1 good buck 160ish and had another bigger buck in my crosshairs for just a second before he spooked. That being said those are the only two bucks i saw the entire week. At least with 12aw they will be huntable and in the unit... they just weren't down...

Can apps still be adjusted to utilize this? Max pt holder here.
