    something different, calling muleys

Hey, I caught the last part myself and I'm hoping to get to see a rerun soon. Wow that's as cool as rattling in whitetail in south Texas. Does anyone know exactly which call Steve McIntosh was using? I'd like to give that a whirl down here, at least when things get a little boring.

    Gila Wolves

Super advice for all of us guys, thanks. I bow hunt too, and think that I'll start stuffing a good handgun in my pack from now on. I'll put it on my packing list, it might be well worth the extra weight.

    Gila Wolves

Thanks for the info Hank, my neighbor is a fine rancher lady and I hated to doubt her, but stuff like this is just hard to fanthom. Now, I know it's true! You'll never hear this on the news, but you will surely hear about all the tree hugging, fur saving, self rightous tea toadlers worrying...

    Gila Wolves

I've got a question for everyone here? I live in SE NM and don't get into the Gila very often. A neighbor lady told me that her aunt lives near Pie town and that the folks there have had to build a large cage somewhere near Pie Town so that thier kids can wait for the school bus at the stop...

    Martinez Ranch Unit 45

Bring your trailer, you'll enjoy that alot more. I'm not sure if there is a hotel in Roy, but I'm almost postive there are none in Gladstone. These are small villages and a long way from any sort of city life.

    capitain hogs

Yes, there are wild hogs on, or near Capitan, we killed several last year during deer season. Be careful though, the word is that several were trapped and tested. All came back positive for psudo rabies. I'm not sure if that makes them unsafe to eat or not but I'm not going to chance it.
