Your property must be in one of the general units to use the general tag. So if you have a general archery tag, you can hunt on any property that you have permission to hunt in all the non-draw units. Same for rifle. The LOP program is useful if you have property in a draw unit like Murderer's Creek or Ochoco. If you have property in Desolation (a general bull unit), it is still a little better than the general tag because your LOP tag would allow you to take any bull where the general tag is spike only. On the other hand, you can only use your LOP tag on your property but the general tag could be used for your property and everywhere else in the unit(s). I'm sure you saw but 100 acres is not enough to get an eastern Oregon bull tag or a buck tag. If your 100 acres is in western Oregon, you will probably be able to hunt buck and bull on it with the general season tag, and the LOP program will not be very useful to you, with a few exceptions.
