InfiRay announces RICO Mk1 V2 640 50mm Thermal Weapon Sight (RH50V2) - InfiRay Outdoor thermal optics, introduces a new version of the RICO Mk1 thermal weapon sight, building on the popularity of the RH50 model, with new features for 2024. Based on the RICO (Rugged Infrared Compact Optic) Mk1 series of thermal weapon sights, the RICO Mk1 V2 was redesigned with improved audio recording, a blazing fast 60 Hz refresh rate, and an impressively upgraded ≤20 mK sensitivity rating. The heart of the Mk1 V2 features a high-performance InfiRay Micro II core and a high-contrast AMOLED HD display. The Mk1 V2 takes its image processing one step further with Advanced Image Correction and Automatic Image Optimization courtesy of its MATRIX III processor. Unmatched image quality combined with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, picture-in-picture function, two long-lasting battery packs with 6+ hours of run-time each, aluminum-alloy housing, 1000 G/s2 shock-resistance, and 32 GB of internal memory give you all the tools you need to take your next hog, predator, or varmint hunt to the next level.
A smaller profile, dual-locking-lever, quick-detach mount comes standard with the RICO Mk1 V2. Like the original RICO Mk1, the Mk1 V2 is compatible with the ILR-1000-1 rangefinding module (AC05) and the American Defense Manufacturing RQD mount (AC03). The new V2 model also launches with a lower price, $4,799, than the original RH50.

InfiRay introduces their new HYBRID 75 Multi-function Thermal Weapon Sight - InfiRay Outdoor thermal optics, introduces a new addition to the HYBRID line of multi-function thermal weapon sights, boasting a 75mm objective lens, 4× base magnification, custom reticles, and onboard ballistics.
The InfiRay Outdoor RICO HYBRID fuses the capabilities of a thermal clip-on and a thermal weapon sight to create a new breed of thermal device. The HYBRID gives you never-before-seen versatility and performance, boasting a 3,600 yard detection range as a dedicated thermal sight, or compatibility with day optics up to 10× as an inline clip-on sight. The combination of the HYBRID’s low-distortion orthoscopic eyepiece and a 1.03-inch large-format 2560×1920 display provides comfortable viewing as a dedicated sight while still maintaining the pixel density and resolution for use as a clip-on optic.
The HYBRID also unlocks advanced features such as compatibility with a 1,000 yard laser rangefinder, As a special introductory offer, purchasers of the HYH75W are eligible for to receive the ILR-1000-2 Laser Rangefinder for free after registering their HYBRID sight (for warranty purposes) and completing the LRF Request Form. Last year, iRayUSA announced the HYBRID 50mm (HYH50W). This year, the HYH75W builds on the original design, with the addition of a flat dark earth ceramic finish, and 75mm objective lens that provides a 4× optical base magnification and increased detection range. Digital zoom up to 32× enables shooters to stretch the HYBRID out to longer distances. For predator hunters in open country, the long range and ballistic capabilities of the HYBRID 75mm are a drastic improvement to the world of 640 resolution thermal weapon sights.
Announced at the 2024 SHOT show, the HYBRID 75 is now available with a price of $7,999. “The HYBRID 75 is the go-to option for night hunters looking to stretch out to greater distances,” said Pliny Gale, iRayUSA Director of Marketing. “This model incorporates features of industry-leading RICO HD (RS75) and the proven HYBRID 50mm. While most shooters will use this as a dedicated weapon sight, the ability to use the HYBRID as a thermal clip-on allows it to do double duty and do some work on an additional rifle.”

Pulsar Announces Firmware Updates for Trail and Axion Units - Pulsar is excited to introduce Firmware Updates 5.0 and 2.3 for the Trail 2 LRF XQ50 series and Axion 2 LRF XG35 series, respectively. These updates will enable new features and capabilities for some of Pulsar’s most popular thermal optics.
Firmware Update 5.0 for Trail 2 LRF XQ50 and Trail 2 LRF XQ50A Thermal Riflescopes
Firmware Update 5.0 brings a host of enhancements to the Trail 2 LRF XQ50 and Trail 2 LRF XQ50A thermal riflescopes, elevating their performance to new heights. The key features include:
- Additional Distance Visualization Options: Update 5.0 introduces three new distance visualization options, providing users with greater flexibility and customization in their shooting experience.
- Extended Display Time of Rangefinder’s Widget: The update increases the display time of the rangefinder’s widget in the top right corner of the menu, ensuring users have ample time to gather crucial information.
- Ballistic Calculations in SCAN Mode: Update 5.0 enables ballistic calculations operations in SCAN mode, enhancing functionality and convenience.
- Autocalibration Indication Changes: The autocalibration indication has been refined, offering a more user-friendly experience.
- Ballistic Calculations through Stream Vision Ballistics App: Users will now be able to perform ballistic calculations by using their Trail 2 in conjunction with the Stream Vision Ballistics mobile app, allowing for precise and accurate shot placement.
Users are encouraged to follow simple steps to enable ballistic calculations on their Trail riflescope:
Download the newest updated version of the Stream Vision Ballistics mobile app.
Create a ballistic profile following the instructions in the app.
Connect the scope to the Stream Vision Ballistics app via Bluetooth.
Upload the ballistic profiles to the riflescope using the app.
Measure the distance with the laser range finder for accurate ballistic calculations.
The suggested point of aim will appear on the riflescope's screen.
Firmware Update 2.3 for Axion 2 LRF XG35 Thermal Monoculars
Pulsar’s Firmware Update 2.3 for the Axion 2 LRF XG35 series introduces significant improvements in image quality and user interface. Key enhancements include:
Improved Image Quality: Reduction of noise in observation modes, resulting in sharper and clearer images.
Smoother Animated Zoom: Variable zoom is now more fluid and congruent with digital zoom, delivering a seamless and immersive viewing experience.

Revic Launches 2nd Generation Smart Scope, Radikl RS25b - Revic Optics, a division of Gunwerks, releases the Radikl RS25b smart scope with integrated ballistics. A full, 8- sensor suite samples real time environmental and shot data to calculate a solution.
