Just wondering if any Monroe Archery Elk tag holders hit but could not find a 330-340 class 6x6?

I am almost positive I did read about someone on here that did shoot a nice 6 point the last day of the arch hunt down there and could not find it. I know I remember reading something like this. I take it you found one? Hopefully it works out for everyone involved.

I talked to another hunter who wounded a bull, but he didn't think it was a very damaging wound. I'll PM you with the very few details he gave me.

please let us know if this is the one you found. This is interesting for a lot of us and would be great if this bull actually went to the person that was fortunate enough to hunt but unfortunate to find the animal

Thats the way I feel schmalts. I know I would want someone to tell me they knew where a bull that I had arrowed but could not find was. Just don't know if the Fish & Game would even let this person go back there to retrieve the horns.....maybe this person who stuck this bull, stuck another one and filled his tag already. Just don't know......But from one hunter to another, I'm just trying to help out.

muleman - that is a very cool thing to do. I am interested in the "rest of the story". As long as he still has a tag and you contact the fish and game they will let him retrieve the horns! I know of 2 other people that have done this in the past. Rifle hunters found the animal and knew who had arrowed the animal. Good luck on the search.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep you posted on what happens.....if anything. NOW.....When are we going to see Mountain Madness? I hear there will be some great footage of a Desert Sheep hunt on there. How did your elk season turn out? Any your clients shoot any gaggers?

I shoulda known that was you Scott! Funny you should mention that. I just came in from the office to get a sammich. I was polishing up that ram footage and I must say....it's awesome footage. That ram is great. Do you remember what that thing scored? I would like to post the score on the picture. Mountain Madness WILL be out by Christmas. I am hoping to get it to the duplicaters by Thanksgiving. I did email you the cover didn't I? Keep us posted on the bull you found. It should be interesting to see who contacts you. You know, come to think of it, I arrowed a bull there, he had 2 antlers with 6 points a side and white tips....scores in the 320-330 range.....
