NV area 61-68

Well I think buck fever has set in. I was one of the lucky ones and drew the early rifle hunt for 061-068. Spent alot of time in my youth hunting just north of the border in Idaho but never in the great state of Nevada. If any of you pre-rutting bucks might have a suggestion of an area to kick around in your thoughts would be much appreciated.

try around the midas area I have been chukar hunting there for the last 5 years and have ran on to some big bucks. Do you know of any free sattelite image web sites if so please email me [email protected]

Good luck. I am jealous. We didn't draw a tage for Nevada this year. Crossing my fingers for the Idaho draw now...

Thanks for the info. I talked with the resident Biologist today. Range and feed conditions are the best he's seen in 20 years. South Wester Idaho also had a wet spring with lots of good feed for the wildlife. Should be a good hunting season this fall.

It has been an extremely wet spring. I live in Salt Lake City and it has been wet here in Utah. Antler growth should be steller this year. I only wish I had a Nevada tag too!!! Good Luck on your hunt. Let me know how you do ([email protected]).
