Nevada Elk Early Hunt 111-115 221-222

Hey Guys,
My buddy drew this elk tag and the season starts 11-4. We are heading up there on the 31st. to get in at least three days of scouting.
We are looking for some areas to start at. We would like to know about some areas that are far away from roads. I hear it's rough country. But that just makes it more of a challange. We will be there the entire season through 11-18.

Any help would be great since none of us have hunted this area before.
