IDAHO RESULTS UP!!!

C'mon somebody post some good news! Somebody had to draw the 45 tag, deer or elk. Did anyone draw a antlered tag???

I just talked to friend here from burley, and he and another friend drew the late 45 hunt for deer. He was on cloud nine, he has been putting in for 5 years on it, thats all. Think Alderman will take him??

I drew four out of five tags I put in for, not bad. Not bad at all!
GOOD Luck to all of you lucky and unlucky ones.

!

HOLY &%$#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My buddy and his dad pulled a late 45 buck tag. I'm running around the house here screaming like a little girl. This is gonna' be sweet! Boone and crocket, here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alderman, you've got two new stars for lowland 5!!

Let's get r' done!!!

We have the early tag, should be a great time! With the good water year and moisture, this could be an awesome year for big bucks. I am already doing my rain/snow dance in my office, hoping for early storms this fall to get the big boys out and about.

Struck out all the way around. Congrats to the lucky drawers!

Arizona and Wyoming are my only hope!

Glad to say I got a unit 42 late Nov 10-24 Any antlered deer tag.Had this tag about 10 years ago and chose the second week in hopes of weather and rut.As I drove in guys that hunted first week had some nice bucks and said the rut was in full swing before season opened.Best buck I saw was about 27 3x3 and nice and heavy.Shot a real heavy 25 2x2 last day for the novelty since only 2 pts can be taken in the general season it made him quite a trophy.

I drew 40-1 Nov. 10-24, could anyone give me an idea
of what I have to look fwd. to?

Boone and Crocket, You'll be hard pressed to find one, let alone two. You've been watching to many hunting videos. It is 5, Part four will be out in the next couple of months. Keep in touch we will see what we can do for them. By the way in case you were wondering, I got the old goose egg with my choices. congrats to everyone who drew and for those who didn't there is always next year!

Steve

If you didn't draw that 45 tag, just keep in mind that its probable not as bad for you as it is my dad. 20 years and still counting and no unit 45 tags.

NVMDF2,
Pray for weather to hit before or during the hunt....without snow on the ground it is nearly impossible to find a big buck....but trust me they are out there!
I have spent quite a bit of time down there in the last few years....drew the hunt in 00 or 01....seen some great bucks...but again didnt have the weather until the last day of the season and then it was pretty much a whiteout.
Let me know if you want some info...I will keep my eyes open for a decent buck for you.

My friends son (who has MD) drew a 44 early tag. I can't wait to take him out and get something that will become part of the wall decorations.
Any ideas where to go for a kids First buck would be great.? I have pulled a couple of decent muleys out of 44, however nothing to big.

Lowland man, i know that we have our work cut out for us. But it's the kind of work i love. The Booner comment was just my emotions running wild. We do alot of photo taking in that area in late november and horn hunting as well, so we have some good ideas where to begin.

No matter what the outcome i know we are gonna' have fun.

I'll keep you posted. Watched Lowland 1 & 2 last night to get us all primed for scouting. Good job again on those dvd's.

Thanks,
Kicker

For the 8th year in a row I didn't draw deer, elk or antelope.:( Maybe I'll final get lucky next year. I did draw "X tags" for deer(60X) and elk(74X) but those were undersuscribed.
