LAST EDITED ON Jul-06-05 AT 06:53PM (MST)[p]Thanks for posting such a great picture of your cute family. It added a very positive note to quite the topic. I didn't get a chance to comment. Kids are what its all about. Here is Lilly with one of the other species.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-06-05 AT 06:56PM (MST)[p]Since we are going into the "dog days of summer" any other dog and kid pictures out there?????????????

P.S. I know this isn't muledeer related it was where the other topic was located. Any puppy and kid pictures with mulie mounts in the background to bail me out of this one. : )

Hello, again from Mrs. D.F. That picture truly made my day! What a sweet little girl and an adorable puppy. You and your wife must be a lot like me and my husband. Family is the most important thing in the world and it sounds like you are doing a great job with your daughter. Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures! You should be very proud of your wife and daughter. (P.S. Just to help bail you out...I happen to have a picture of a dog AND a mule deer. This is a photo of me and the kids back in '99 with a 180 archery mulie that my husband and his friend took in the high desert.)

Thanks for bailing me out. Great picture. I'm very proud of them. I actually have three daughters. Too scared to try for that son. To compensate for all of the barbies laying around, I just hang deer heads on the wall, (much to my wifes distress.) In all fairness, she is pretty good about it, there is a limit though.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-08-05 AT 08:02AM (MST)[p]I don't have a dog, but here is a pic of my family. They had just come in from being in the backyard pool all afternoon. My wife would kill me if she knew i was posting a pic of her with "pool" hair and no makeup.

Hey boneaddict, I wasn't trying to hijack your thread. I thought posting a family pic was a neat idea. Much more light-hearted than some of the topics of late.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-08-05 AT 09:11PM (MST)[p]Here are my 2 rugrats :) My boy will be old enough to hunt next year. I can't wait. :) You can bet his ol' man is going to try his darndest to find him a buck during the Youth Season. :) :) My daughter has a couple more years but she tells me she's going to shoot a buck way bigger than dads. :)

BCBOY - How old do kids have to be to hunt in BC? There is no minumum age here in West Virginia. My daughter is eight and she says she wants to go squirrel hunting this fall.

No problem RuRu, thats what this whole thread was supposed to be about. What happened to your pic? It was a good one.

I love that wolf shot BC. Thats what we are talking about... I wish they'd open up the season down here on them buggers.

boneaddict - Is my pic not showing? It still shows when I view this thread. That pic of your little girl with the puppy is adorable.

RuRu12,
Here in BC kids have to be at least 10. Then they can either get a Jr. Hunting licence in which they can shoot their guardian's tags, or they can take Hunter training and get their very own tags.
My son and I were talking recently about him taking the Hunter Training program next year so he can hunt with his own tags. He was pumped about that and told me, "And maybe I'll shoot a Booner." LOL! I guess he takes after his ol' man.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-09-05 AT 10:03AM (MST)[p]Thats awesome BC. I have a daughter turning ten this next month. Things are about to change at the Kikendall house. She lives with her Mother (city girl) who can't stand the thought of her daughter out in the woods with Dad.

I saw it for awhile RuRu, now I get the big red x for some reason.

That's strange boneaddict because I can still see it. I've got my pics on the server over at hunt101.com and they have a logo posted that says they are doing maintenence, maybe that has something to do with it.

BCBOY - I think the wolf pic is really cool too. I've always wanted to bag one. Maybe someday I'll make it up north either to Canada or Alaska and get the chance. Heck if they keep spreading in the lower 48 they may be all we have to hunt!
