i got area 6 this year so did my dad we were thinking about going to the chicken creek area... or the tuscarora (SP) area wonder if anyone has been hunting up in these areas the past couple of years

Did you draw the early season? We accumulated 7 points and still can't draw 6, but we tried for the late season given our point total. Very scant tags issued for that late hunt. Considering points are squared I can't believe we drew there our first attempt but not since. Heck that's almost 50 chances compared to one. Ouch.

I struck out on LE Elk in Utah, LE Deer and Elk in Nevada and LE Deer and Elk in Idaho. My 2005 hunts will include a Northern Utah muzzleloader deer hunt, a week long Southern Idaho "over-the-counter (Unit 70, 73 and 74) deer hunt and a week long South Slope "Any-Bull" elk hunt. Sometimes years like this prove the most successful. Thanks for asking.

yea we got the early season with only 1 bonus point each we usually always end up getting area 6 but we usually want area 7
