finally!! prime tag

After 10 years of applying i have finally drawn what i think is a quality deer tag.Wyoming area 119.I hunted Elk in that area last year so i'm not going in blind but if anyone has any info about the area that might come in handy i would appreciate it.

Oilcan...I had that tag last year. I saw a ton of bucks a got an average one. Unfortunately I was sick on the hunt. I hunted little grass creek. Brian

Brian if you were there last year I'm sure i saw you, we hunted little grass creek also. ( i had a white chevy 4x4 and we were staying in a cabover camper ).The Temps were in the 60's last year i'm hoping for snow and cold weather this time around.

Oilcan....we were in a silver dodge with Idaho plates. My buddy and I both drew(I live in Oregon) Did you see any good bucks last year? Did you see any elk? It was very hot when we got our bucks. Brian

Brian we saw 19 elk including 2 real small bulls ( we had either sex tags )the first day and a 1/2.It looked real promising so we were holding out for a decent bull.Then like you said it turned real hot and we never saw another elk,i guess thats the chance you take.Towards the end of the hunt we were discouraged and thats when we went lower to little grass creek to look around.Even with it being hot we saw tons of deer and some REAL NICE BUCKS. I will be there for about 2 weeks so with some cold weather and the bucks start rutting a little i think i can get a real nice deer.

P.S. did you hunt any other places besides little grass creek?
