NorthEastern Utah deer

I drew the general season deer tag in the Utah Northeastern area which was my last choice. Although still glad I am hunting somewhere, I have never hunted this area before.

I am going with my father who is limited in where he can hike (disabled) and one other person. I am glad to pack it in and hike but need to set up camp where my father can sit on his quad and hopefully get some sort of action. I am not sure how much longer he will be able to hunt so any suggestions where we could possibly run into some bucks would be much apreciated.
Thanks--

Good luck hunting. I grew up hunting the South Slope. Finding ATV access is very easy since there are roads and trails every 100 yards on most of the units. Not many places to hike and "get away" from the people unless you hit the wilderness. Lots of hunters and about 5 forkies per 100 does.

The Red Cloud Loop area, between Flaming Gorge and Vernal is very accessible by ATV. There are quite a few small bucks taken out of this area each year. The down side is the amount of hunters in the area. Good luck on your hunt.
