I was lucky enough to draw a Region G Muley tag for Wyoming. Does anyone know where I can purchase a good topo map for that area of the woods? I live in Northern Utah.

Also, I have never hunted muleys that early in the season, Sept. 15th. What are the big bucks doing at that point in the season? Are they typically in bachelor groups or roaming solo? Mainly along the timberline?

Good luck to everyone this hunting season! Be safe and shoot straight.

Sportsman's warehouse and REI both have similar setups where you can build your own map and walk out with it. I think the web based stores offer more options with regard to scale and size.

Good luck!

LAST EDITED ON Jul-20-05 AT 10:45PM (MST)[p]Go to any sporting goods store or even like previously mentioned and pick up a DeLorme Atlas & Gazetteer for Wyoming. Also go to Bridger-Teton Nat. Forest at 307-733-2752 and get their map.

Get some maps and then you can figure out a game plan and where you want to hunt.

The Bucks won't be down low that is for sure, maybe a spike or forkie but no big bucks.
