guessing around 32". Hard to tell but he sure is a nice buck. The buck past him with the head down looks like he may be a good buck as well......... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

I say hes over 30" maybe 33" when he done!
nice deer! thanks for sharing!

oh, i'd say he's about 'WOW' inches wide....very nice tb...get back on him...

Like you said, not the best picture but with the pictures here to judge and with an average 22" ear spread, I'm going to say to would be around 38" but ONLY a guess.
At this angle in first picture with 22" rule of thumb, they are close to a ear length wider. 22+16=38"
You see him again during the season, then you can tell us HOW WIDE he is.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-31-05 AT 03:06PM (MST)[p]I wish he was in an area that I could hunt. Unfortunately he is on private land, that allows NO HUNTING. (Kennecott Copper). He is one of many awesome bucks that I have seen on their land this year. Not too bad for a 10 minute drive from the house! :)

My wife likes the does and fawns, so we go out near the Copper Mine and Butterfield Canyon a couple nights a week. Hopefully I can get some better pictures of this guy, and some other bruisers I have seen.

By the way, I guesses him around 35 inches or so....maybe a little more.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.
I'd agree that he is close to 35" wide.
Too bad that you don't even have a chance of measuring him on the ground this fall.

Fish and game will probly get to measure him like the Toole depot buck.

Tuffbucker,

You live 10 minutes from that buck? Here is an idea! Wait till the rut, rent a 5000 gallon water truck. Fill it up with doe-in-heat scent and lay a trail from the fence to your garage door! BOOM! Tag filled.:)
