Sorry to bore some of you guys, (I posted some pics & story in the archery forum)

I'm still basking in the afterglow of taking my first archery Columbian Blacktail buck.
I still have a high country Blacktail rifle hunt and a rifle Muley hunt in Oregon.
It's finally hunting season!
Good Luck To All!

LAST EDITED ON Aug-07-05 AT 09:42PM (MST)[p]HH, Congratulations! Beautiful pictures and story! Try to tone it down a little bit though. We don't want all these mule deer hunters to know how really exciting blacktails can be!:)Just kidding of course!

Way to start out. I hope it continues the rest of the season!

Harry,

Congrats to you on the "first kill" of your Archery season here, is this up there where you live??

Job well done and looks like you had the son there with you too, that is a plus towards the hunt.

Congrats HH - makes the waiting even harder for the rest of us.

BBH - if that's milk on his lips, my monitor settings are way off - looks more like cranberry juice to me!

Nice Job! That's a good looking buck. I bet your boy was sure excited to see you bring it home! :)

Thanks for sharing the pictures and the story with us.
