I'm thinking about hunting both Elk and Deer in the Santiam Unit. What should I expect? Are there enough animals up there to get excited about or am I just waiting my time?
Last year I hunted the snake river unit and had a great time. I saw a lot of animals and some beautiful country. I would proable go back this year but just don't have the time, due to a wyoming deer hunt!!!
